I've just put on some fake tan but it always looks more orange than brown. I want it to have perhaps a tint of red in it. Does anybody know how I can get that without sunbathing(because the weather here sucks!) ???

  1. Its always going to look orange unless you have a little tan.

  2. I find fake tan always looks a bit orange. You can always go to a sunbed, but I really wouldn't recommend it.

  3. Im not sure how to get it with a tint of red.

But if you mix the fake tan with a bit of moisturizer it wont look as orange and more brown colour. (:

  4. It must be the fake tan your using, there not all orange. try different ones, st tropez is pretty expensive but good, or even try ambre solaire ones, just look in boots, you'll get a decent one for around 7.99, I use spray on and its really good. Also, perhaps your using too much.

  5. believe me the price of sunless tanner usually indicated how orange it is dollar store or under 10$ = tangerine

makeup counter or a good tanning company name= golden brown

it will always have orange undertones though and make sure you towel off w/ an old towel right after to get a good blend

  6. They will all make your skin look orange. And because not everyone has the same coloring, sunless tanning sprays do not cater to this. All they do is Light, Medium or Dark, and what their should be is one for Cool skin, one for Neutral and one for Warm toned skin.

The only suggestion I would make is to put it on sparingly and thin. But I agree with the first response over anything. Natural is better. Tans are not all they're cracked up to be and most guys I know prefer a girl that looks natural. They don't really care about tans or make up or any of that stuff (not saying you're using this to impress). And even if the weather isn't that great...you can actually still tan on a cloudy day. My mom got sun poisoning once because she fell asleep outside for several hours, completely cloudy out. Just wear a light SPF anyhow. Even if the UV is low, go outside for a week, 20 minutes a day, you'll have a glow by the end of the week.
