Family Residency in Bahrain?

Hi to all,

Hope you can help, my husband obtained a work permit in Bahrain, which states that its valied up to 4 weeks in order for the company to stamp his residency, he will be in Baharin July 5th, so i guess the deadline for residency is August 5th. My question (s):

How much will it take him after getting his residency to get me a family visa, so i will be able to follow him to Bahrain?

How much does it cost?

How long do i have before i can change it to residency?

How much does the residency cost?

Can my family visa be change to work visa in case i find a job during the begining period, before i stamp my residency?

Whoever can help me with these question , whould help me a lot.

It all depends on his sponsor. If your husband wants to bring you along with him, he can only do that if the sponsor agrees as you will be sponores by your husband's sponsor. Expatriates cannot sponsor others, only Nationals can. That can be done from the first day, and the cost can be paid by the sponsor as well, if not, I dont think it costs much. Once you come to Bahrain and find a job, the visa can be changed immediately to work visa and your employer will be the sponsor.
