  1. Are you flying?  Go to Cali.

Driving?  Fill the tank and head south until you have to fill up again.  Six Flags parks are fun.

It would help if you gave a time zone or something.  I'm in Ontario.

  2. Well, you didn't even give us a hint of what kinds of things you like to do. Are you inside people? That would mean concerts, museums, shopping.

Are you outside people? Lots more to do outside - hiking, biking, swimming; near the ocean, in the mountains or ???

Check out this website for ideas:

  3. California.

You've got many national parks to visit: Redwood, Death Valley,  Joshua Tree, Sequoia Mountains. You've got many many beaches open to the public.

Then, you've got big touristic cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, San Diego...

I don't know when you'll be going but if you're near the coast, you will always have a slight ocean breeze that takes the weather not too hot, nor too humid.

  4. Travel down the east coast... from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, SC to Hilton Head and then on down to Savannah, GA. It's so beautiful... the coast line and ocean and the history is phenomenal... from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War and all the other wars in between.

Go in late spring or early fall to avoid the crush of tourists and the humidity.  It's the best..

  5. You would definitely enjoy Florida. I just came back from a stay at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City and I fully intend to return. There's an article here: http://camp-sites.suite101.com/article.c...

    Have a great vacation!

  6. I'd like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it's hard to understand why people don't stay home.

Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere - anywhere but home.

  7. i would either say new york or florida, both tons of fun and florida has disney world and its the best place ever no matter what the age is!

ive been there 7 times and going back soon!

  8. well if i were you then i would go any where in the south ( tennessee, alabama, west virgina, ect) there is tons of things to do there you can go horse back riding, mudding, watch bull riders, ect, well have fun

  9. California. or somewhere coastal.

    Stay out of the South,

Stay out of the midwest unless you enjoy seeing miles and miles of grassland.
