  1. Chris Davis for sure!! The guy is golden!!!

  2. There are a few decent options out there. Like the first guy said, Christ Davis is a pretty good pick up if he isn't gone already in your league. Chase Headley is also probably gone. You could look at guys like Colby Rasmus, Steven Pearce, and Matt LaPorta, but you can't be absolutely sure when they will be called up. The Cardinals #1 pitching prospect, Jamie Garcia just got called up and has the potential of being a nice sleeper the second half too.

  3. Matt LaPorta  Cleveland Indians look for him in a few weeks.

  4. David Price has been absolutely dominant in the minors and with Tampa Bay remaining in the lead, they will look for any move (including calling up Price) that can help them THIS year.

Colby Rasmus is another hot topic but he wouldn't be able to take an everyday position with Ankiel, Ludwick, and Shumaker occupying StL outfield.

Chris Davis has huge power potential but he's a free swinger that will have some long slumps as big league pitching finds the holes in his swing.  Think a young Adam Dunn.

Francisco Liriano.  He's likely owned in your league but if not he should continue to progress toward the form he found in 2006.  If so, you've got yourself a fantasy ace.

Steve Pearce.  Seems like Pitt will be shopping several outfielders (Nady, Bay, etc).  If so, look for either Pearce or Andrew McCutchen to be called up.  I prefer Pearce between the two.

Matt Gamel (Mil) has been swinging a hot bat.  If Milwaukee comes about an opening in their roster (may or may not happen) he could have an impact from the start.

Adam Jones may find his way.  He came through the minors as a top prospect and has the tools.  If he starts the second half well...grab him.

Jeff Clement.  Great bat for a catcher but hasn't produced at the MLB level just yet.  If he does...look out.  He could have a Geovanny Soto type impact.

  5. Matt LaPorta will be up with the Cleveland Indians very soon the way they've been playing. He should put up good numbers for them.

  6. I will give you ten prospects and some information on them.

    1. Jay Bruce has big-time power, improving plate discipline, enough speed to cover the ground in center field and steal bases. Hits lefties as well as right-handers.

    2. Evan Longoria has the potential to be one of the game's best all-around performers at the hot corner. Is a power hitter that can also maintain a solid batting average.

    3.  Joba Chamberlain boats an overpowering fastball that can easily blow hitters away. For a power pitcher, he has very good control. Has a warrior's mentality on the mound.

    4. Clayton Kershaw has the ideal pitchers' frame, strikeout ability and overall arsenal to become a big winner in the majors. Is very mature for his age.

    5. Jacoby Ellsbury owns a sweet natural swing with a great batting eye. Very fast and smart running the bases. Smooth in the outfield with great range and a good glove.

    6. Edinson Volquez shocks hitters with a change-up that cuts 20 m.p.h. off his mid-90's fastball, which can lead to numerous strikeouts. Works hard at improving his craft.

    7. Chase Headley has tremendous upside as a hitter, including the ability to draw walks and power potential. His switch-hitting ability adds to his overall value.

    8. Daric Barton has power and run-producing potential, a good eye at the plate and the ability to hit for a high batting average.

    9. Reid Brignac has a huge frame and a lot of power for the shortstop position. Can also steal bases and posseses a great throwing arm.

    10. Nick Adenhart has an ideal frame for a pitcher. His stuff has tremendous movement, which can lead to a boatload of strikeouts. Is quite competitive.

  7. David Price - Starting P with the Rays...or will be soon.  This guy is lights out.  He was a #1 overall pick last year and has been tearing though A and AA.  All the Rays need is ANOTHER good young player...great.  Watch out MLB.

  8. Henry Rodriguez. He is like the Joel Zumaya of the Oakland A's.
