Fantasy Football #1 draft pick....?

I have #1 pick coming up this season in fantasy football. I need help deciding who to pick first because there is a lot players that could have a huge year next year. Help me out!

Tom Brady. I didnt have #1 pick last year and i got him and i won almost every game. And try to get Randy Moss

LT is the safest pick. some people are gambling on brady or moss.

Your #1 pick needs to carry your fantasy team the entire year and have the best chance to stay healthy all year. He also needs to have a clear production advantage over others at his position.

The availability of quite a few quarterbacks that aren't separated by much when you compare their numbers overall eliminates taking a qb this high (as you can get 1 later in your draft that gives you a better overall draft value than picking 1 in the first round).

Wide receivers simply don't produce as high or consistent numbers as either qbs or rbs, so they are eliminated from contention for the top spot.

If you take a defense or a tight end #1 overall, you don't deserve to win any league . . . period.

That leaves you with choosing a running back. While Adrian Peterson might be explosive, he needs to prove he can handle the extra defensive attention, especially considering how pedestrian the offense is he plays in. Add in the fact that he has a history of being injury prone, and you would have a hard time convincing me to take him #1 overall. Joseph Addai is in a great offense and is an impact runner, but he isn't the focal point of his offense, and as a result his overall numbers suffer. Marion Barber is not a full time feature runner, so he can't be considered #1 overall.  Stephen Jackson might have a great season, but I'm not sold on the St. Louis offense, and he has a history of injuries that would make it hard for me to take him #1 overall.

The choice is LT. He's proven he can excell over a long period of time. He's durable, and he can carry your fantasy team (he's carried me to a few titles over the years). Take LT #1 and breathe easy before your next pick comes up.
