My friends league has all unowned players set to be on waivers insted of being free agents. How does he change this?

Unfortunatly the players will be on waivers for a couple of days after your draft. The only way to change the status is before the draft. This happened to me a few years ago so I make sure my setting is on free agents before we draft.

You usually have to wait like 2 days after the draft, then all players automatically become free agents and can be picked up. They put that in for the 08 season on yahoo. (if it says on waivers till 23 august or so)

you cant turn off the waivers but you can set the waiver to a shorter period like from 2 days to 1 day
