Fashion Tips: Ok Or Not?

Question

1. Can an oversized babydoll top be a babydoll dress?

2.Can an undersized zip-up sweater be a shrug thingy (you know those mini jackets and shrugs that aren't full length)

To answer number one? No.

since baby-dolls don't have much shape towards the bottom half, wearing one as a dress would not be flattering for most body shapes.

And if it was meant to be a dress, it probably would be :)

As for the sweater, sure! I've worn and seen that a lot! Very cute

If you're trying to get creative [which it sounds like] then you might want to try going to less main steam stores to find your look. Maybe try a local vintage store, Urban Outfitters or Forever 21 perhaps. If there's a buffalo exchange near you...All these stores are different and affordable :)...well except for Urban Outfitters..but yeah. lol

1. Yes. A lot of girls wear tunic as dresses so baby dolls will work too. Just make sure that is long enough all the way around. But leggings are out and over done. If you're looking for something different wear it with dark tights and knee high boots in the fall and winter. Although it might just be better to wear an over size shirt with skinny jeans. Add a belt if you want more shape out of the shirt.

2. No dont do it. It'll simply look like your clothes just dont fit.

well i can only answer the second one since i don't own any babydoll tops, but the undersized sweater would work if you pushed up the sleeves so they were too your elbows. unless it would look weird since they don't reach past your wrists
