Hey Everyone,

I am completely lost on how to do this. My father and I get along decently and my mom wants me to have an all day father-son day with him for his birthday. I am 15, any thoughts on what we could do?

  1. Do something you both enjoy, this is a bit obvious but, something bonding, maybe something which will make you feel closer to your dad, most important of all, make sure you both enjoy yourselves!!!

  2. Do something with him that you know he is interested in..or maybe something you are interested in and most of all talk to him..ask him questions about everything...about himself, his views on different things...that's the best way to bond with your dad...my son started to do things with his dad  around your age...although they had been through some very difficult times..he is now 30 yrs and they have a really good close bond and they have so have many interests in common...your dad will love it if you do things with him ... even just being with him will make him happy.. you don't have to do anything big maybe go for something to eat and just chat..all dads want to spend time with there sons..

  3. Railway/car or any other type of transport Museum.

    Trip in hot air balloon.

    Fishing.

    Day to a historic place.

Something appropriate to your Father's interests/hobbies.

Good luck and enjoy your day with him - try to make sure he enjoys you as well!

    Best wishes.

  4. quad biking, golf, fishing, camping, footy match, rugby match, pub?, rally car racing(depends where you live) red letter days: www.redletter.com

  5. My dad and i usually will watch a movie or just plain spend the day together whether it be at home or out.
