  1. It's going to be Gordon Beckham for the White Sox when they call him up next year, but as of right now it has to be Rollins.  You can't knock on a SS that wins the MVP.  Can't knock on 30 home runs, 94 RBIs, and 41 SB.  Ooo and a Gold Glove.

  2. I like the American League leader in HR for SS Jhonny Peralta of the Cleveland Indians, who pads this lead with his HR last night against the Angels.

  3. Jeter!

  4. Former shortstop Nomar Garciaparra.

  5. Natasha Whatley or Kelly Eubanks

  8. Derek Jeter, he has proved over the years for me that he is a great ball player and new york fans adore him which is hard enough to do in new york.

  16. Micheal Young.

  17. Omar Vizquel. This man is a magician with a glove. I'm sort of disappointed that I never got to see Ozzie Smith play, because I hear he was a legend at short in the same mold (or, should I say, Omar was in the mold of Ozzie).

I know that Vizquel isn't that good of a hitter, and that JRoll/Hanley/Reyes/DJ are all clearly better hitters and more valuable players, but Omar can play the position like nobody else right now.
