  1. I don't think eggs are good for them...

  2. A little bit of butter if you have to, no grease.

I'd like to point out to people that the hamster will not get an entire egg.

A couple pieces of fluffy scrambled egg without seasoning are full of protein and offer a treat/variety to the hamster's diet.

  3. no way in god's name should u give a hamster any type of egg's if u like to give it food that u and ur friend's would eat then this what u should give it green grape's,red grape's,purple grape's,blueberry's,cranberry's,any type's of apple but not baking apple's,walnut's,sun flower seed's,pecan's,carrot.....

  4. hard boil egg would be best, takes out all the grease

    and its healthier for it

  5. Try hard boiling the eggs as you will be able to cook it with no grease at all. If you must scramble them, mix the eggs in a microwavable bowl and microwave until the eggs are thoroughly cooked. I would advise against using grease. To those who say not to feed hamsters eggs, I should say that an occasional egg here and there won't hurt the hamster. In fact, it will provide high quality protein in their diet. Hamsters are omnivores. They can eat vegetation and grains, but they can also consume insects, eggs, etc.

  6. NO Don't use grease when you scramble eggs for hamsters. It is not good for their stomachs.

Also try to give them only the egg whites as whites are the source of proteins for which hamsters eat them.

The best way to give eggs is hard boiled egg whites.

Eggs should not be given often in the hamster diet, it should be given only as a treat which means not more than few bits a day, and twice a day if the hamster is pregnant.

Give your hamster wholesome nutritious hamster mix (available in pet shops) as the main meal and eggs should be only 5% of the hamster's total daily diet.

  7. uhm dont feed them eggs!!!

  8. No grease, but if you really want to, a very small amount of butter will do. Although, it's healthier to feed them hard boiled.

  9. If you cook it in the microwave you don't have to use grease at all.

  10. You can give your hamster scrambled, or boiled eggs. This is a very good source of protein. Eggs also contain most of the recognised vitamins with the exception of vitamin C. The egg is a good source of all the B vitamins, plus the fat-soluble vitamin A. It also provides useful amounts of vitamin D, as well as some vitamin E. Vitamin D, is essential for rodents that don't get natural exposure to sunlight. Scramble the eggs without milk or butter, Milk or butter is not good for him.
