I think female drivers are almost to cautious there by causing problems not for themselves but for others. I have seen women wait for a car a block away to go by before pulling out,  where a man would have been long gone. now your the man behind this car and your saying come on lady what the he--  are you waiting for. road rage

Actually no, they are safer, thats why insurance rates for men are much higher then for women.

No, I don't agree that female drivers are more dangerous.  I think male are more dangerous because they try to act all macho and all that.

It has little to do with gender--I'm more concerned about age. Teen-agers worry me due to their inexperience, but geriatric drivers downright scare me because many of them have, with age, lost their ability to handle a motor vehicle.

So what UCANTCME means is this...When a man gets pissed off behind the wheel, he is more liable to take it out on the rest of the drivers. Also, he feels he has to prove something, especial if his friends are around, so he is more liable to do stupid thing, risk taking, to prove his manly hood. Or be judged as a woosie.  And see, you had to prove something to yourself, so you made this stupid question. Were you speeding along, when she pulled out in front of you, or came upon her??

I disagree because of the facts that have been gathered...

Men, tend to drive more aggressively than women and display their aggression in a direct manner, rather than indirectly. Furthermore, as a rule of thumb, male drivers are more likely than women to break the law, and the male of the species tends to be more of a risk-taker.

Men typically drive more miles than women and engage more often in risky driving practices including not using a safety belt and speeding.

females are a little better than males because they are a lot more cautious.... but males have more confidence.
