Female pilot career?

Im 15 years old nearly 16 and i have always wanted to become and pilot. however i do not want to be in the arms forces, as i do not want to sign a 12 year contract. i really want to become a airline pilot but do not know how i would start my career (training etc). also would i need to go 2 uni and what courses/studies would help, and what grades do i need to achieve? i live in plymouth, uk. and also would you suggest the bets places to train. thx this will help alot.

Living in the UK is limiting.. sorry.  Even the Saudi Air Force sends their pilots to train with our Air Force.  You can start by taking flying lessons and make sure you are trained on more than one type of aircraft.  Even go into "choppers" this will give you more experience.  Your courses at an university should include aerodynamic and design.  Check with the airlines and find out what are their qualifications.  Also, you might want to contact other pilots and find out how they got their start.
