Feminism and anti-woman?

I'm not trying to generalize. I find it interesting that so-called feminist frown upon traditional woman things yet in a sense they glorify being a male. For instance, has anyone watched Pink's "Stupid Girls" video, it has a great message to it that girls are more than just looks, but what's so wrong with girls playing with barbie(s)?

Aw, man, I love Pink and that music video so much. Inspires me everytime. There is nothing at all wrong with playing with dolls/barbies, but we want more diversity in what we teach our girls. We want them to play football and other sports to, ya know! We don't want them to grow up concentrating on their looks (barbies) and only look to motherhood as a career. We want to get them to experiance all types of things. I'm okay with traditional, your life is your choice, but progressive is better. When the girl picks the football in the end she is picking brains and bronze over looks. That's what it is ment to symbolize, not that girls shouldn't play with dolls and stuff. You learn by playing when you are a kid. You need to experiance more than just dolls/barbies, therefore... which is what Pink is symbolizing.

edit: Oh and people, c'mon, lol. The question is if feminism is anti-traditional woman in the sense of it glorifying what supposably men did traditionally and not what women did. But it's not. It's about showing a girl that she can be what she wants, including a leader.

you are generalizing. I am a woman; I have three sisters, a mother, aunts,nieces,sister-in-laws,female cousins,female co-workers, female bosses,female friends; and none are anti-woman, many are "Barbies" many are not, some are L*****n some are not.Some of the Barbies are L*****n some are not. I am not a L*****n I am not a Barbie it is just not me. What I find interesting is how distorted and limited your view of the world is.

Is Barbie more than just looks? And a whole lot of pink accessories? Nope. Maybe it isn't so bad on its own, but next to all the other stuff on the "stupid girls" side, it's just part of the problem.

Nothing is wrong with barby dolls. That video was about girls who think they need to act dumb for guys to like them.
