Hey, i've been wanting to know...

what are some pros and cons for the Ferret?

do they make great pets?

Make great pets! Not for everyone.  I love them.

Pros to ferrets, they are:

fun

portable

entertaining

not hard to care for

Use a litter box

Can eat cat food

come in many different colors and sizes

Some like to cuddle

Full of personality

Can go on walk on a leash

playful

usually get along with other animals

They like to play with cats or dogs and of course other ferrets

Can learn a wide range of tasks or tricks

They make fun noises

Cons

Life span is about 8 to 10 years

Some places they are illegal

Takes patients to train them

If not trained to soft mouth - they can bit hard - similar to a cats

it all depends on how you train them

if you dont have the time, they can turn out to be some really nasty/mean pets

u have to fully commit if ur gonna get a ferrett
