Field hockey help???

im trying out for field hockey and im sooooooo nervous, ive never played before, what should i expect at tryouts and what equipment do i need...other than the stick and shin guards?

You will need a mouth guard.

I have been playing hockey for three years and i have never had a try out so i don't know what to expect. but just practise in the backyard.

Practise:

- short passes

- long passes

- push pass

- slap shot

- indian dribble

           Just play around hitting the hockey ball for a bit just to get prepared.
