Question:

Figure skating Artistic Program Outfit?

We're trying to think of costume ideas for my figure skating artistic program.

My song is "These Boots Are Made For Walking" by Nancy Sinatra.

What would be a neat outfit? I need to be able to move because I have 2 spins and a jump in my program alone with the footwork.

& I'm 14. Um. I think I'd be Bronze artistic level.

We already know that we are going to have boots. But what kind of dress?

.....something fun, with a "hippie chick" 60's flare.  I did an entertainment piece one year to "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor (who hasn't, right?) and I had a dress made like this Elizabeth Hurley's in Austin Powers...

    Good luck!

  2. My daughter skated to this number, she wore a pink pleather dress, with long sleeves,  with the area of her shoulders cut out, black belt. White boots. Sounds kinda funky but it worked.

  3. Get stretchy jean shorts, put some random chrystals on them, line the pockets with chrystals, Get a BRIGHT RED button down shirt, tie it up under your chest, cut off the sleeves, and again put random chrystals on it.

    GOOD LUCK!!
