you can check online either with the city police dept. website. or google s*x offender directories. you will be able to find your neighborhood. the problem with this is that they are categorized in levels based on their evaluations after treatment and prison. Just multiply how many you see close to you by 3 and you will be close. good luck, and buy a gun if you have a young child.

There is a site on-line where you can get that info. I can't remember the URL but you can get to it from Ask by typing in s*x offender lists. (That's how I found it.)  Beware, though, not every s*x offender is a child molester. Some got busted for picking up a prostitute or indecent exposure or a mistake they made as a young adult. Currently all s*x offenders are lumped together without regard to the actual offense, so a person will get classified as such whether the raped a woman, molested a child, or got caught urinating in public.

You can go to the National s*x Offender Registry to look up s*x offenders in your neighborhood.   They are not all pedophiles.  http://www.familywatchdog.us/

Some people think these site are human rights violations, but if I had children and I were looking for a place to move with them, I might check into these sites.  There are predators who have not been caught or registered yet, of course.  Just use common sense and if you have kids, talk to them about safety issues.  Follow your instincts.  As much as possible, communicate and be attentive to help prevent child abuse.  If you get a weird intuition, check into it further because you have the power to stop abuse.  That intervention could save a child's life.  Ignoring signs of abuse could have a ripple effect that can adversely affect society for generations.  If you have probable cause, report it!!  The experts can look further into the case.

If someone is convicted of Child molestation they are registered. Try looking on yahoo for the registry in your state. All you should need is his first and last name. Sorry I dont know a specific sight.

Most, if not all, states have s*x offender registries. Try the website for your state's state police. They will likely have a link to the s*x offender registry. In addition, in my community a copy is available for viewing or purchase at the local police station, and the local school district has a link to the s*x offender registry on their web site.

Most s*x offenders have to be registered with local law enforcement. Just contact your local police department with his name and address and they can verify that.

Google s*x molestor, and you will find several sites that search for them for you and give you addresses. One is called digg.com, another sexmolestor.com.

Depending on your city's laws, you may also be able to call your local police to find out if you suspect a particular person...

all you have to do is keep your doors and windows locked up tight and if you can afford it get a secerity alarm put in your house so if anyone tries to break in the police will be there in about 45 seconds flat.

Your local Police Station should be able to tell you if this is the case.  Hopefully the information is on their website, but if not I'm sure it wouldn't take too long of a trip to find out.
