two long walls meet at right angles. 60m of wire fence is used to form a rectangular enclosure, with the two walls forming the other two sides. find the maximum posible area for such an exnclosure

this means the perimeter is 120m..then the maximum area for a constant perimeter is always a square.so the length of each side is

120/4 = 30m......thus, the area becomes 30^2....ie...900 sq. m.
