Finding a jail sentence

Question

Is there anywhere I can go online to find an inmate and their jail sentence.. I live in Harris county but the only thing I found just states the booking date and the charge.. I do not talk to this person so I can not send her a letter to ask and nobody else is telling me anything.. I just want to know how long she is in for... Any ideas on what I can do?

Her sentence is an open record. Call the institutions and ask if she's there and for how long.

All you have to do is call the jail and ask.

If calling the Harris County Sheriff's office doesn't do it.  Try and contact her parents.
