Finding random bruises?!

A few days ago I woke up finding a nasty dark purple bruise on my ankle. I thought it was a little weird since I didn't have a memory of bumping into anything extremely hard but I didn't think much of it until last night when I noticed a purple patch running across my left hip. It feels like there's also a swollen lymph node or something like that underneath. Should I be worried??

Do you have any other symptoms such as tiny red dots on your skin that may look like a rash? When you cut yourself shaving does it keep bleeding? If so then you have many makers for leukemia, but this could just be mono - you should go to the doctor asap.

Add some iron to your dietary supplements.  Women especially are very prone to iron deficiencies, which manifests itself with bruising easliy.

Also take massive doses of vitamin C.  35mg/lb per day (spread it out).  Do a google search on "megadose vitamin C"

Random easy bruising is a symptom of cancer. Your lymph node being swollen on the same leg gives me worry. I would seek medical attention as soon as possible to rule out cancer.
