This is the same question you asked above so here is the same answer I answered above:

It sounds like you have the digital converter. This box doesn't not give you the IMG, PPV, On-Demand or any other extras. The only thing you get with the box is the signal. You can only use the channel up/down buttons. To access the bells and whistles you need at the minimum is the standard stb (set top box).

The other thing to check is that when you use the remote to turn on the box that it doesn't shut off you TV. I have been on many trouble calls for people that say their remotes aren't working. When I get there I find that they "are out of sync". I tell them to get into the habbit of before touching anything on the remote to always first push the "stb" button.
