Firewall? allow programs?

I would like to allow my firewall to let me use mozilla firefox how can I get it to grant access

if you have Windows Vista, try doing this:

first go to the control panel and click on windows firewall.

then on the left side, you'll see turn windows firewall on or off, then on the bottom it says allow a program through windows firewall. click on that.

click the continue button and when a screen pop up, check the program you want to allow to open.
