Hello, im moving out to the country and my parents said i could get a dirtbike because ive always wanted one. Ive decided to get a kawasaki but i need help with size. im 13, 127 lbs and told to be very strong. (my friend says you need to be strong to control a bike) would a 4 stroke kx 100 be to big for me? because my friend said an 80 or 85 (i forget what number :P ) would be too small. Could an experienced dirtbiker help me out? Thanks i appreciate it!

  1. the 100 isnt a 4 stroke and i have an 85 and its a good height its good for your age and when you grow you can always buy big wheels hope i helped

  2. well you know you will be growing. get the 250 yamaha.

  3. kawasaki 100 are 2 stroke same with the 85..if you want a  4 stroke motocross bike you will need to jump to the kx 250f (125 2 stroke) because they dont make 4 stroke motocross bikes to race with the 85's

  4. I'd say go with an 85 2-stroke. I'm used to riding 250's and 125's , but I weigh 160 and stand 5'9". I've ridden an 85 which was pretty darn quick, but a little on the small side. Though it definitely didn't lack power.

I think you should look into an 85 and a 125. But that should depend on your height as well as weight. Try riding different sizes and get a feel for the bikes. Then choose one that you feel the most comfortable on.

    Good luck.
