First period after tubal?

ive always had light periods but since my last baby was born in july i had my tubes tied and got my first period on tuesday normally it would be over by now but im still bleeding very heavey is this normal?

I was 23 when I had my tubal and I had a very heavy flow afterword.  I believe it is normal since the procedure went through the navel and the v****a, but if you are worried you should schedule your follow up with your OBGYN early to adress any concerns you may have.
