  1. Yes, I have experienced this many times, and I am an old salt.

It is an inner ear thing, and goes away pretty quickly.

  2. This can actually happen with any continual motion.  If you sit in the waves at the beach for a while, when you get out, even if you walk around and such for a long time, when you lay still you may feel the same wave drag and pull.  Same with rollerskating, same with swinging; after a while your body begins adjusting to the movements, and continues to do so even after the movements stop.  It's completely harmless.  I love it :)

  3. Yes, I do.  I came off my boat after a day of fishing last tuesday...and I was feeling that way until the next morning.

  4. Tthe problem is the liquid in the inner ear. Your inner ear still thinks it is adjusting your balance for the roll of the sea. It does get better or you get used to it. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated should also help.  Of course you could just have a few drinks of rum or a few beers - then you will not notice :)

    Enjoy!
