Fleas in the house??

I don't have any animals yet since i had 7 months ago and we are thinking of getting a kitten first and my friend brought her cat over to see if my daughter liked it and she did but now the other day i was on the floor with my daughter and flea was on my arm and i tried to pick it off but it jumped off then i seen another one a little later.. how do i get rid of fleas in my house if i don't have any animals yeT?

  1. Plan a day out and buy a bug bomb. I have had animals in the house for years and have found this to be the only truely effective mthod.


  2. you can go to walmart in the animals section and get a flea spray. you spray it everywhere in your house before you go to bed.  

  3. A flea spray or bomb will do, but you have to make sure follow directions closely because of the baby. Also,  Boric acid powder is safe to under furniture where the child can't get to. It gets caught in the joints of the flea, and kills it by sucking the moisture out. And it's a very good idea to vacuum some boric acid up, because fleas can breed in the vacuum cleaner and crawl out. Bombs don't always deal with the flea eggs very well because the fleas can sometimes get to more places than the poison. Vacuum well in the hard to get to places, fleas can be dormant for 2 years without a host.
