Question:

Flexible hose tap connectors?

I have been checking through a ScrewFix catalogue to buy flexible hose tap connectors for a sink and bath. The catalogue states a Dia of 15mm[which I think is the copper pipe diameter] a BSP of half or three quarter inch and a bore of 10 or 13 mm[ which I guess is the internal diameter of the hose]. What is the BSP and which do I choose?

  1. 1/2 inch Bsp for basin & 3/4 inch BSP for the bath.

  2. BSP= British standard pipe thread 15mm ( 1/2" ) for sink or basin & usually 22mm ( 3/4" ) for a bath. 1/2" is the tap thread & 15mm is the copper pipe size. 3/4" well need I say more!

  3. British Standard Pipe thread, the thread on the tap.
