  1. 1) Highschool diploma at minumum. Best if have a college degree and can speek two other major languages.

    2) The schedule for a flight attendant is one that is unpredicatable. Might be away from home alot.

    2) Not sure.

    4) Not neccesarilly. Weight must be proportional to height.

    5) Not sure.

    6) Getting sick can be a possibility due to the fact that you would constantly be breathing recycled air consantly. More possible of fainting than getting sick.

    Good luck!!!!

  2. 1.they provide all the schooling u will need, usu 5-6 weeks

    2. yes u can have a family but totally depends on which airline u get hired with, where u currently live, and where u will be based for your job.  chances are u will have to "commute" flying to work from where u live to where u get based and will work at least half the month or more. typical is 18 days a month. so no u prob wont see your fam that much esp the first year.  as u get more seniority/ years, u will work less if u want to!  definitely not a job recommended for someone with kids under 5 simply as u wont see them that much!

    3. u make like $30K canadian/ year starting out.

    4. physically strong not really i've seen girls work with me that were as tiny as nicole richie.... like 45 kilos... just push, pull, lift 40 lbs

    5. time was covered... the 1st year at any flight attendant or (f/a)  job they just dont give u many days off, benefits or anything... but then again, how many jobs that pay under $50K/ year starting do u know that do give u massive benefits???!!!

    6.  yes u can get sick often the first year because frankly your body isnt used to being exposed to like upwards of 250+++ people per day which of course means lots of germs/ bacterias... but the good news is that your body adapts fast and you develop quick immunities.

every airline has its own rules and stuff... the best way to follow your dreams and is go on every airline website u can think of and apply apply apply.  the chances of getting hired are slimmer than u think, simply because so many people apply.  there are lots of tricks that help that they may be looking for. but i'd have to answer specifc questions. email me if u need more: lilac.mist@y
