Flight Delay and visa expiry?

I am travelling to italy tomorrow and got a return flight booked for 22:50 at night. My visa expires tomorrow so I have to return by mid-night. Will it be a problem if my flight gets cancelled/delayed?

if u have already booked and ur inside the airport before it expires thn nothing to worry about, ur safe as u already planed to come back home.

Yes it will affect it.  It may be worth calling your visa people and asking them for an emergency extension on your card just in case.

If you need a visa to travel it usually has to be valid well beyond the date of travel.
