Flight stops?

when you have a 2 and a half hour technical stop in a flight ( Santiago de Chile to Zurich with the Stop in Sao Paulo) are u allow to go out from the plane, stay in the airport or do you have to stay in the plane?

Most of the time you must get off the plane and go on a different one.

If it is 2 1/2 hours, even if you are continuing on the

same plane, you are permitted to go into the airport.
