Florida Licensed Contractors?

Question

I am looking to open an Interior Design business in the state of Florida. Along with interior design, we would like to offer other home renovations such as new carpet, paint, tile, etc.

What kind of license would that require and how do I go about getting one?

Depends on how far you are taking the interior design. if you are taking out walls you should hook up with a residential builder and local architect to produce the drawings for permit.   If you are doing minor stuff as paint, tile & flooring the installer should have an occupational licence in the city or county.
