I believe Mayweather and Ali are the best mental fighters. They beat guy's with smarts. He's the best boxer of our times. I wouldn't say all times because these guy's wasn't nothing like those guy's back in the days.  They are not going 15 rounds today. You have guy's barley can go 8 to 10 rounds. Most guy's dont have the stamina they did.

well roy jones is still alive he is pushing 40 hard and problly wont be beating any champions soon but in terms of skill and knowlege as long as guys like him and holifield are alive he will never be the best alive but if you mean the best fighter currently fighting i personally think cotto would take him

No, not as long as Miguel Cotto is taking on everyone put in front of him and winning if Mayweather decides to fight Margarito,Mosley,Cintron,Williams,Quinta... and Cotto and shows he can win these fights hands down but for now he's the best entertainer outside the ring not in it.
