Flying while pregnant?

I should mention that my husband is an Australian citizen. I was under the impression that if I'm married to an Aussie, and give birth to his child, that the child would be an Aussie citizen too.

  1. Most airlines won't let you fly at 7 months on because they don't want to deliver a baby if the woman somehow goes into labor.

What ever your citizenship is, the baby's will be the same.

Babies don't need Visa's, they must be accompanied by at least one guardian though and since you are the one giving birth, you qualify.

  2. The changes in pressure in the airplane cabins can cause stress on the fetus.  Many airlines wouldn't even allow you to fly in your 3rd trimester.

  3. Who said it wasn't "allowed?"
