Mkay :) Well i am 12 years old . And I have a very good habit of keeping care of my skin . I have started my menstruation cycle , if that helps . I still get little whiteheads and pimples on my nose and eyebrow area. I currently use the Neutrogena wave to clean my face. Is there any Foods/Drinks that prevent Acne? right now my Diet isn't that great. I love fast foods and Soda's. So , What foods and drinks can prevent it?

  1. coconut water (the liquid inside) is really good for you, most ppl dont like it though (i guess cause i'm jamaican I like it.) and fish oil pills/capsules help with your skin and a bunch of other stuff

  2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

    soft drinks (drink water instead)

    sweets (substitute with fruit)

white bread (replace with whole wheat bread)

  3. Instead of soda use chrystal light 0 calorie packets to flavor water bottle drinks.

Almonds, blueberries, and avocados work wonders!

  4. Well, the most important thing is to keep a healthy diet, which includes drinking LOTS and LOTS of water, eating veggies, and fruits. Anything else that seems healthy would work too. From personal experience, when having a really healthy diet, it made my breakouts easier to deal with and I had less acne.

  5. Believe it or not acne is not caused by greasy foods and sodas.

Though you can have a worse break out when eating a specific food, it's not like the more chocolate you eat the more acne you get. That's a total lie. Now the best thing to do is to drink a lot of water, if you can only manage that, you're going to get a pretty nice complexion.

The key to having acne free skin is keeping it clean. The best thing to do is to keep your skin moisturized and always be sure to use a facial scrub as well as a mask once a week.

Most girls break out before their periods, and by the time it starts to go away, the next period starts. That is part of puberty and especially in the beginning, you're face is not going to be perfect. That's just how it is. As you get older, the acne will not be as bad but you can learn to control it. Like I said, the cleaner your face is, the better your skin will be. A lot of water adds on and helps even more.

If you have the money, you can buy really good skin care products as Sephora that are amazing. Philosophy has a set that is about 78$ but it controls your skin and actually helps keep it looking it's best.

I started to get break outs in 5th grade, my face was horrible.

I had prescription creams and stuff but they just didn't work quick enough for me. So I started to take care of my skin more in about 9th grade (i'm in 11th now) and this is what I do every week:

Monday: exfoliate skin with wash; moisturize

Tuesday; 20 minute face mask (I use an egg); moisturize

    Wednesday: exfoliate again;moisturize

    Thursday: moisturize

Friday: I use a mask from Sephora and then exfoliate and mousturize

and the weekend I'll usually do nothing, maybe a mask.

I don't get acne and my face is actually really clear, some weeks I don't do anything either but use a face exfoliater in the shower once a week. The only time I ever get acne badly is before my period but that will clear up quickly too. Just have to remeber that if you try too hard to get rid of it, it could really inflame your face.

Now don't think you will never get a zit, because it will happen no matter how good you are to your skin. This is one of the times where you should learn how to correctly apply concealer too :)
