Football Cards in Beckett?

I was looking in the 2008 Beckett for football cards and by some of the cards I see EXCH. I also see a place where it says EXCH expires 12-31-2008. What does EXCH mean?

EXCH stands for exchange...it means that these are not so much actual cards as they like a coupon/voucher to send in to the card manufacturer and get a card back from them..historically these were quite common in basketball card sets where the set would be issued before the draft and exchange cards would be inserted randomly that you could send in and receive a card of the corresponding draft pick back in the mail.
