Football in highschool... NO experience?

Ok so I am an 8th grader and I really want to play football in highschool. What are some ways that I can start to learn the sport and get good at it so I can be accepted into highschool football? I am kinda good at football but just average...

well watching football on tv is helpful, and start lifting weights that is really important. even playing football videos games can help u learn more about it

Well my friend you are just like me. I was in 7th grade when I started playing so you have a little on me. A good tip is to not get cocky. Everyone hates a cocky player. Go to youtube and type in HOW TO PLAY FOOTBALL and watch videos on rules and positions and find the one that best fits you.
