Football visors (perscriptions)?

what kind of a perscription do i need to have a visor in midget football. mine is clear and my coach told me i need a perscription or its coming off. where can i go to find one

Ask him to show you where it says it's not allowed, because tinted visors are the only ones that I know of that you need prescriptions for.

Ignore what the above people said.  Unless your league has a special rule allowing them, visors with any sort of tint are *illegal*.  Only completely clear visors are legal at all levels except the NFL.  It doesn't matter if you have a note from your doctor, the Surgeon General, the Pope, and God himself.

You'll be told to remove it before the game by the refs and if you're caught during the game your head coach will get a 15 yard Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty for allowing you to wear it.

You only need one if you want to wear a dark one. In that case go to an optometrist and tell him that you play football, but the sun bugs your eyes.
