I'm a young guy who is obsessed with bagging the awful part of society.

I AM honestly sick and tired of reading about murders, rapes and disgusting things happening in this country, in my home country NZ and in fact around the world!

This followes the murders of 2 babies in Brisbane, a murder of a baby down the road from my house, two family massacres which resulted in 6 murders and countless random acts of violence in our nation Australia.

In New Zealand, there have been lots of petty attacks on innocent people!

I'm sick of the evil side of this world! WHY do people do this? It really makes me confused and sick in many ways.

What do you think?

  1. I too am sick of it - but these type of things have happened in every era if one looks (not that I recommend doing that - it's real depressing)

The real problem is that no one ever hears the good stories. I am from the US and all you ever hear is about violence and guns and horrible things - which is really not the case in daily life at all.

The fact is some people in our society are sociopaths - they do not feel empathy for others, they are immoral and enjoy causing pain for their own reasons. It is very sick, but these types have always existed. News just travels faster these days, the more lurid and violent the better for the TV news purposes.

  2. Well there are 20 million people in Australia plus however many million in NZ, of course with that many people you are going to get a very very small percentage who murder their baby or rape a grandmother. The newspapers aren't going to sell many copies if the headline is '99.99% of Australians are just fine and dandy' so they make everything sound as dramatic and awful as possible.

Of course these events are tragedies but I think you have to try and keep it all in perspective.

  3. ask the people that do it only they know why they do it
