For NJ drivers - reporting aggressive driving.....?

I had an incident yesterday driving home from work... A woman was not going to let me over and continued to drive right next to me to block me. I did manage to get over in front of her, but I noticed when we stopped at the next light she appeared to be writing down my license plate#.... She was the one not letting me over, and I guess becasue she's ticked that I got in front of her, she wrote it down. At some point I got behind her, so I wrote down her license plate #. I called to ask what can be done about reporting an aggressive driver, and it's a big hassle.

My question is, if she actually decides to take action which I see as a pain in the a**, and I get a ticket in the mail, can I counter with my own complaint? I didn't bother doing it because I know in court it would be my word against her word...

  1. Yes you can counter, any defendent can counter sue. You'd both probably just end up with a be better drivers, and watch out for road rage. Considering theres probably no proof for either of you, unless either of you have a record of agressive driving. I wouldnt be too concerned.
