before i start this is not a question , just something i wanted to share . feel free to leave any comments (hopefully not rude ) .

about 2 weeks ago i was giving my son his bath , and even though we have a none skid bath matt in the tub , he still got his foot off of it and slipped and fell , knocking his head against the faucet . he hit so hard , the company that was there heard him hit . needless to say we were all scared to death . we took him to get checked b/c he had a big bump at the base of his skull . luckily he was alright ( got a hard head like mom ). anyways i went to walmart yesterday and got him some bubble bath . in that isle i also found a Thomas The Train faucet protector . you also pour the bubble bath in it . to make a long story short , i strongly recommend this , especially if your child loves to play in the water . it made bath time more enjoyable for both of us !!

  1. thanks for the product info! My son has had a few bumps and I think that I have cried more then he has soemtimes!!

  2. We have the octopus one for my son where the water comes out of all the legs. These are wonderful especially if you have a child that loves to stand up in the bathtub or just likes to roam around in the water. Im glad your son is okay

  3. I'll keep an eye out for the faucet protector! My son's almost 11 months and we worry about the faucet all the time-- thanks for the idea!

  4. I am glad your son is ok and honestly there is no parent out there that is going to raise their child to 18 and say there will never be an accident.  Just when they do happen we as parents should do what you did and get them checked out.  God Bless!

  5. Do they have a whole house protector. lol. my son hits his head on every possible surface. one time he jumped off his bed. (after learning the monkey jumping on the bed song) and totally split it open. We had to go to the ER he had 3 stitches. and I swear 2 weeks before that accident he must of hit the exact same side like 4 times. and since he's had his stictches out he continues to hit that side of the head. Now that i think about maybe i should get his vision checked cause he will be walking and walk right into a corner. Anyways we call that side of his head his unlucky spot. just 3 days ago he hit his head 3 times in the afternoon when i got outta work. In other words i think kids. ESP. BOYS. are pron to getting all bumped up. Don't stress just take him to get checked out and don't ever ignore him.

  6. Yep, the faucet protector is a definite life saver for the adventurous bathers!  I could not have lived without mine!

  7. We have one that creates a waterfall - my son loves to splash in it!  http://www.booninc.com/flo.html

  8. i had no clue that the made faucet protectors... thanks im buying one next time im at walmart..

  9. i will have to check that out at walmart,.maybe it will help the water flow too because my faucet sprays all over right now. I  think i will also get more tub appliques. my kids like to stand in the tub all the time.

  10. I'm so glad that your son is okay!  Accidents happen - it isn't your fault, and you did the right thing in getting him checked out.  I didn't know that they made faucet protectors!  I'm definitely going to get one!
