  1. first off you're generalizing. see Americans love to travel all around and of course there are beautiful places in italy like any other places but see I personally don't find italy attractive at all. I'm more interested scandinavian countries. and other western european countries like switzerland, Germany and the like.

after all, not everyone is the same or share the same likes.

i mean consider yourself that haven't seen some or haven't been to any american countries would it make sense?

  2. the grass is always greener on the other side.

Don't rush to move to America, their technology is way behind the rest of the world (though they don't realise it) h**l they still use miles inches feet  pounds and farenheight. A very inward looking society who are full of their own importance. I moved there from Ireland 13 years ago and they are only now coming up to many of the technological standards of Europe at that time. Stay where you are.

  3. My family, friends & I have ALWAYS dreamed about going to Italy because of the history. The art (I've heard) is amazing, and it sounds like it has a lot of old world charm, which Americans love because we are so advanced, its nice to get away sometimes!

  4. your English is a lot better than my Italian.

How about:  culture, history, class...in USA it is real unusual to see a building over 100 years old.  Everyone is from somewhere else, but I bet you can trace your roots back 100, 200 years?  You probably have a strong idea of what it means to be Italian, but there is no real "American" identity.

    Ciao!

  5. Probably for a lot of the same reasons you want to live in NY or LA. My wife grew up in Italy and we go back every year to visit family and hang out, I absolutely love the culture, food, people I always have a great time but every time I'm there I see something new, where my wife sees the same things she grew up with. It is just the opposite here in the states we live in Los Angeles and what I consider familiar she see's it as new and exciting. I believe Rome is one of the worlds greatest cities where you see it as your home, you may think the same of LA where to me it's just my home.

  6. I like Italy to visit, but to live I think I would prefer America. Italy is a beautiful country rich in culture and heritage
