Do you still have any interest in s*x? If not, is it because your husband doesn't either? I'm just curious as my wife and I are getting there, and she seems to be losing interest, though I haven't.

Im only 30 and have never really enjoyed it so I am hoping that one day I do hit my sexual peak....Has she had her hormones checked to see if there is something that could help her?

from my experience I can tell that woman in her 50's still can give better s*x than many of girls in their 20's.

yes they still are interested in s*x with more experience.

For those of you who think 50 is old & dead, get over it! You have two choices : someday you will be over 50 or you will die before you get there. That being said, I have survived that dreaded 50th birthday by a few years - and I'm still very much alive in EVERY way! If your wife isn't interested, reread Gina's answer about romance. That's the key to keeping women's interest alive at  ANY age!

LOL....yes over 50 doesn't mean everything just stops working.

My Mom is 78 and she has a companion and they still have s*x.

As long as both partners are healthy and still want to you can have s*x until you die.

Have your wife talk to her regular doctor and her GYN.

***a bonus....because it takes the man a bit longer now.....it's a win-win situation for both partners....LOL

I am over 50 and I am still very much interested in s*x.  Everyone thinks that people over 50 should just curl up and croak.  I take very good care of myself - I am interested in all of life and what it has to offer! I think you just may need to take her on a second honeymoon!!!  Romance is important!  Have fun!

My parents are both over 50 and enjoy having s*x still. They have been married for almost 30 years. I don't think they are planning on slowing down any time soon.

Just so you know, my mom is very open to me and has taught me a lot on how to be with my husband, etc.
