  1. There are, in a sense, three "tiers" of the forbidden cards. The first tier are the extremely broken ones like Raigeki. The next tier are the somewhat broken ones like Chaos Emperor Dragon, and ones used in OTKs like Last Turn. Finally, the last tier are just cards that are low-level with really good effects, like Breaker. These are Forbidden because they generate small advantage by just placing them on the field.

The reason Crush Card Virus is limited to 1 is that a deck needs to have about 8 monsters that CCV can tribute for it to be effective. Wall of Revealing Light is just a bad Swords of Revealing Light, but has combo potential. Because, however, the OTKs in this format are easily countered, WoRL isn't as effective. CCV appears to be a pick for our next banlist, I think they wanted to have it out for a while. I'm not fully sure :/

  2. Have you ever heard of the phrase "Balance of Power" well, the sole reason why there are banned cards is because these cards, have given duelists an incredible edge in dueling and thus, have proven; if not at all, too powerful. So, Konami took measures in order to ban these cards for the sake of the gameplay, since duelists often won too easily or were just too powerful to make for the game to be fair, since the game is also evolving almost everyday.

  3. things like wall of revealing light aren't that broken like you could pay 3000 then it could be destroyed by an mst straight away and I'm with you i don't find breaker the magical warrior that good but it does have its advantages!!!!

  4. You don't have to have 8 monsters to run crush card. Most people(especially the people who top at shonen jumps) only use 2 targets. Sangan and spirit reaper. Crush card will probably get banned. Places like Japan and europe have adapted to crush card. North america hasn't. magician of faith is too good in this format. Monster reborn a dark magician of chaos, use his effect to get back monster reborn, play it, flip magician of faith, bring back monster reborn. Wall isn't good because of the life point cost and stall cards in the form of spell and trap are generally avoided.
