Ford Factory Radio question

Question

Do they have a different hook up from a 1998 ford factory radio from a 1997 ford radio? I wanted to get the cd player version of the ford radio's in that year. Will I need to get a adapter kit for it?

they should be the same as long as the vehicle in question didnt get redesigned in 1998.You also have to make sure that the basic system is the same.For example if your vehicle has the base system make sure that the cd player is for the base system.If your vehicle has the premium sound system be sure that the cd player is from a vehicle with the premium system.

I think they're the same.  If not, you can probably get a wiring harness to install the radio (they cost less than $20 normally)
