Im going on to collage this september to study for a btec national diploma in forensic science, well if i get the grades!

I was wondering if that would be enough to get into university to study forensics there?

My GCSE grades are predicted to be :

English lang - C

Maths - C

Additional Maths - C

Functional - Already Passed

Science double award - CC

I have been forsed to drop Music and Geography and also to moved down into foundation, where the maximum grade is a C becuase i have had to move schools often.

Would all this be enough? or do i need to redo my GCSE's and then do a-levels?

  1. I would have thought any/all of Physics, Chemistry & Biology would be a better 'fit' ....

  2. you should be able to do a degree in forensics with a btec, as long as you pass it!! also it depends on the university you want to go to and that universities admissions policies and their point system. it may be worth contacting the university your interested in admissions office and asking them, or looking in their prospectus.
