Fort Lauderdale Spring Break?

Anyone else going to or been to Fort Lauderdale during Spring Break? I hear they shut down a lot of the fun and it doesn't compare to Panama City Beach. Anyone know how true this is? Is it still a good Spring Break location for a college student? How are the bars/clubs? Let me know!! Thanks!

I have lived in Fort Lauderdale for the last 10 years. They have shut down some of the "fun" like girls getting drunk and vomiting on the beach, boys stabbing each other with broken beer bottles, etc. But, if you are a decent person and here for a good time, Fort Lauderdale is still a fun place for Spring Break. We have good clubs, good beaches, and good people.
