Forum Superstar or Roxy Butterfly Silhouette?

Question

what board is better for a beginner????? and what are some good brand bindings and boots that would look good for either of them

well i have been riding forum boards since i started snowboarding and they are great for every level of experience. i would say the forum because it will last a while and it has great pop

I work at a snowboard shop and Forum is one of my favorite brands by far. In my opinion, the quality is much higher compared to a Roxy board.

However, If you're a beginner I would not suggest going all out to get Forums most high-end womens board. If I were you, I would go for the Forum Star. It is a directional board just like the Superstar, and It would be perfect for ya to learn on. It;'s an extremely durable board, which got Transworld Snowboardings "Good Wood for 2008". Which means it was one of 10 womens snowboards that was rated the best ride out there.  It might have had that award in previous years too...I'm not sure.

Oh and for bindings and boots....

Thirty Two is my favorite brand for boots....but other good brands are:

DC, Forum, Rome, Ride, Burton....Basically any of them are really good.And same with bindings... Any Forum, Rome, Ride, Burton, K2 bindings would work. Just go into your nearest shop and ask someone to help you out with their honest opinion.
