I will ask our resource manager when we meet her but in the meantime. We are fostering to adopt. We were told in training that many foster kids are in therapy because of the abuse they have subejected to. While in care the state pays for all medical and therapy. They said in special cases they will continue to pay for therapy after the adoption. My question is what would be a special case? I thought after adoption the AP takes over medical for the child. (FYI I have no issue taking over medical. I have insurance that does cover therapy. This is a curiosity question)
