  1. bikes are almost 4 stroke engines

  2. it depends on what class u race.  4-strokes are not quick off the line but get going really fast and end up pulling ahead.  A 2-stroke is really quick off the line and with the power band it stays fast for a while.

  3. I love 2 strks, but all the major manufactures are only makin 4 strks now

  4. If ur serious about motoX then they generally prefer 2 strokes. But personally they annoy tha c**p outta me. So I'll stick with my 4 stroke!

  5. they are not making 2 strokes anymore for competition. 4 strokes are the new age of technology and has more power. 2 strokes are old

  6. if u trail ride then 4 stroke they have more power 2 strokes r good on tracks they have better acceloration

  7. 2

  8. 2 stroke

and the guy above me: 2 strokes are NOT gone from the stores. KTM, SUZUKI, KAWASAKI AND YAMAHA STILL MAKE 2 STROKES! THIS GUY IS AN IDIOT! Check their websites!

  9. 2 strokes are the best and the fastest and they are not banned at all they have a new model of 2 strokes comeing out all the time the guy above is clueless

  10. If you are gonna race, 4 stroke. For hitting the track and having fun, 2 stroke. Either way, get one and enjoy. I am part of the dwindling 2 stroke faith.

  11. 4 strokes are ok but i prefare the 2stroke option for a motocross machine [for the powerband] I personaly feel the 4 stroke which are taking over motocross are far better suited to super moto

  12. 2 or 3 years ago the government outlawed the new sale of 2-stroke motor bikes, so if your looking at a new bike, 4-stroke is the only thing you will find. Yamaha is making great strides to make 4-strokes almost as powerful as the old 2-strokes. So if you really want a 2-stroke, you will need to buy a used one.

  13. i like 2 strokes

and 2 strokes are NOT outlawed by the government - Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki still make 85s - and KTM makes about 40 different 2 stroke models..

The guy 2 above me is clueless

  14. We are 2-stroke lovers..but if you plan to race on a pro level then your going to have to go with the 4-stroke...The 2-strokes are slowly getting  pushed out...If you are just racing for fun...You might want to stick with a 2-stroke,,,It is way cheaper to buy and to fix..its lighter to throw around..and fun to ride...

  15. depends on your build what you want to race, and how much money you have because if a four stroke brakes down [engine] then its going to be a bit more expensive due to its more compicated motor, other then the simple 2-stroke motor, the 4-stroke are also harder to maintain. but its still easy.
