I'd prefer Argentina, simply because some of my ancestors set up a Welsh-speaking community in Patagonia. The language is still spoken there.

France have been beaten by Argentina before. France have a big pack but so do Argentina so it would be stupid to write either team off. My guess is that the winner of this game will go as far as the semis when they will come against South Africa. Most likely final is between SA and NZ.

Go Argentina! I reckon they'll take it to the french up front but will run out off puff towards the end of the game.  I'm taking France to win but it'll be close up until the last 20 minutes.

I`m not a Brit or American, but I know Rugby, DO NOT underestimate the prospects of Argentina, A lot of people are talking up France`s chances of being in the final...... The " Puma`s" are just the team to spoil their fun.

it would be good to see Argentina win as they don't play in any major competitions apart from the world cup so you'd hope they can stay in this competition as long as they can. I do think that France would be too strong for them though.

As a Brit, I rather hope Argentina wins (sounds nicer than hoping France loses).   I see there are some Americans on here who don't even know what you're talking about!   Start watching rugby you guys, it is SO much better than any other sport in the world.   And the USA does actually have a team in the Rugby World Cup - a REAL world series NOT played in America!

He is talking about rugby. The world cup is about to start in France. Argentina have been playing well recently but France will still beat them comfortably.
